Borchert's Meat Market is owned by Dave and Donna Borchert, and there aim is to be the friendly neighborhood meat market in which they know everyone's name. All of their children work at the store and they have lived in Maplewood for over two decades, making the market both truly local and family-owned. They try to keep the prices down as they know how tough it is to feed a family and the quality of their meats is high. They are known for their porketta roast, which is a pork butt stuffed with pork loin. They have items you can't find elsewhere, such as Bridgeman's ice cream and Stokke's pizza. Their meat is raised locally, grass-fed, and all natural. In addition, they do fundraisers for local schools as a way to give back to the community.
