Ridgedale Center opened in 1974 and is the fourth of such 'dale' malls in Minnesota (Southdale, Brookdale, and Rosedale). It was intended to be a high-end shopping center and features such brands as Coach, New York, and Swarovski. The flagship stores were Dayton's, Sears, JCPenney, and Donaldson's. The mall has changed over the years and now includes Nordstrom. The other stores include Beeline Ridgedale, Sheer Treasures, Minnesota Strong, and The White Barn Candle Co.--and more, of course. There are also dining options, such as Big Bowl, The Cheesecake Factory, and Jamba Juice.
