Ridgedale Center opened in 1974 and is the fourth 'dale' shopping center after Southdale, Brookdale, and Rosedale. The department stores include JC Penney, Macy's, and Nordstrom. There are a wide variety of stores, including Claire's, Salt of the Earth Apothecary, Pink Lilie, and more. There are places for kids to express themselves  such as the Playseum Minnesota. There are also plenty of places to grab a bite to eat such as Redstone American Grill, Auntie Anne's, and The Cheesecake Factory, to name a few. There is something for everyone to discover at this shopping center.
