Spring Lake Regional Park is part of the Three Rivers Park District. It has 374 acres of diverse environments, including a tamarack bog and open water wetlands. There are vast open green areas, one of which is an off-leash dog park. Big dogs, little dogs, and dogs in between can make new friends here and have plenty of room to romp around. There is a 10-acre fenced off area for the dogs, and it has a watering and rinsing section. One of those acres is further fenced off for small dogs to play without worrying about bigger dogs. There are also plenty of trails--biking, snowmobiling, hiking, and dog.
