West Palmer Park is a favorite of the community because there is so much greenery and so many different kinds of sports fields.  The latter includes a basketball court, a baseball field, two softball fields, two tennis courts, and a skating rink. There is a paved pathway if you'd rather hike and/or bike, and there is a playground that the kids will love to play on. There is a picnic area for when you want to take a break, and there is a neservable picnic shelter.
