Nicollet Commons Park is what is known as a 'town square' type of park, and it's at the center of Burnsville's Heart of the City. Its crowning feature is the 250-seat amphitheater which hosts concerts and other events. There is also of plenty of open spaces (green and otherwise) in which to walk, talk, and just gather. There is a water area in which to splash, which is a perfect way to cool down on a hot summer afternoon.
