Sand Point Beach Park is a great place for people to gather if they like the water and water-based activities. There is a fishing pier, boat slips and canoe racks, and an area for swimming, of course. The view is gorgeous from the pier, and the feel of the sand between the toes is invigorating. There is a playground nearby for the kids who aren't as interested in playing in water. There are also two picnic shelters if you need a break from the water activities and want to grab a bite to eat or just have a little sit down.
