multipleToday's market is difficult for buyers. The inventory is so low, and the demand is so great, that many houses are going in to multiple offers. In the past few weeks, I've written many offers that were in multiples, and have won several of them. There is more than just price that can win a multiple offer round. I've got some very specific strategies that do work! One recent multiple offer, our offer was #3 and one more was coming later that night. Our offer was presented at LIST PRICE, with about 4 other items that I used to sweeten the pot, and even though we were not the highest offer, WE STILL WON. The buyer was extremely happy to have been able to get that lovely home at list price, especially since the home had only been on the market for 1 day.

If you are thinking of purchasing a home, be prepared for multiple offers. Of course every situation is different and may require different strategies.
